The Beautiful Beast (chapter 1)

SYNOPSIS

The Beautiful Beast is a story focused on a man called Dave who always desired the joy of starting a beautiful family, his desires came through but the joy was soon cut short when he got entangled with a woman in an extramarital affair. This brought about complications that could destroy his family. Dave is left with an only option of trying to make things right again.

CHAPTER 1

Staring at the sky above, whispering to myself how on earth i got to this point. It is said that "All that glitters isn't gold" but here i am, If only i took those words to heart, I certainly will not be in
this chaotic circumstance. Seated at the park, startled at the thoughts of going home, reminiscing how it all began, if only I could turn back the hands of time, I sure would have made everything right, but I doubt that's going to happen, knowing the situation had gotten so bad like a burnt bread forgotten in an oven that cannot be salvaged. Oh how difficult it is to be a man i said to myself .

Clara was a pretty happy soul, full of life, fun and energy. meeting her at the grocery store where she worked 3 years ago was the best thing that had happen to me, even when i was yet to run out of groceries, I always someway figured  out something i needed just so i could stop by at the store with sweet hopes of having a conversation with Clara no matter how short it was before heading home. These were the best moments of my life , having someone to think about every night as i lay on my bed sleeping off with a big grin on my face.

Saturday was an off day for Clara and thankfully, I was able to convince her to come over to my apartment for lunch. I woke up that beautiful Saturday morning cleaning the house like never before making sure everything sparkled like new likewise not forgetting the bedroom, you know what they say, "You never can tell how a lovely date will end" .did i just mention date ? oh yes i did because its certainly our first time meeting up without it being at her workplace. Clara being a pretty sexy lady, i sure wouldn't mind our date ending in the bedroom . Looking at the time, it was 1pm and Clara was sure to arrive by 2pm.

Everything was looking perfect. Though i am not much of the cooking type but i was able to pull through to fry some chips and a nicely garnished grilled chicken. I felt a bit nervous but the joy of seeing gorgeous Clara and the insane things my mind was cooking up to do with her sexy body "If given the chance" kept me anxious.

Beep Beep Beep, my phone rang,  I was 100% sure it was Clara calling to say she was almost at my place but my assumptions were wrong,  picking up the phone,  it was my mum calling, was perplexed to why it was my mum and not Clara. "Hello mum,how are you ?"  "Darling are you home" she asked me,  before i could think of some reply to give her,  she said she was going to be at my place in 30 minutes time and disconnected the call. I was in a great deal of shock, why is mum visiting me now, I couldn't believe how she was about to ruin my beautiful time with Clara, I felt so sad knowing i might not get even a kiss from Clara's voluptuous lips which i could imagine must be tender like a flower and will sure taste like strawberries. Oh mum why ?
